Research & Resources<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Researchers at the School of Psychology are conducting exciting research on child development, the mental health of children & young people, neurodivergence, neuroscience, and educational psychology. Ultimately, our research aims to improve the lives of children and young people and those who care for them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are passionate about science communication and produce resources for use in the classroom with children and young people, and for teacher CPD. We can also give taster lectures at schools or conduct engaging workshops about psychology with pupils.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Take Part in Research<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Our staff members and students are always looking for children and young people, their parents\/caregivers or teachers to take part in research projects, and for schools to support our recruitment efforts. The results from our research are published in scientific journals, and are shared with scientists and the wider public through conference presentation and outreach activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Resources for Schools<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To help pupils, teachers and parents\/caregivers learn about psychology, we created a variety of resources. Our different formats include podcasts, blogs, and videos. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Don’t forget to explore two of our award-winning projects- The Autism Community Research Network (ACoRNS) and NeuroKids.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
