NeuroKids<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

NeuroKids is an exciting public engagement project for schools. NeuroKids will teach children how the brain works in a fun and interactive way, using interactive videos and fun remote interactive workshops. \u200bNeuroKids aims to stimulate children’s interests in neuroscience\u200b and help them understand neurodiversity.\u00a0 This is a collaborative project between the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Psychology to teach pupils about neuroscience.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The Autism Community Research Network @ Southampton (ACoRNS)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

ACoRNS is a research-practice partnership that aims to improve the lives of autistic children and young people within education through addressing the marginalisation and underrepresentation of their views and experiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Working together with special and mainstream educational settings from early years through to Higher Education we:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-make a difference to practice<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-focus on the transitions and trajectories of autistic children and young
people<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-decide what questions can be addressed by research and that matter to
practitioners and the autism community<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-put children\u2019s voices and experiences at the centre of our work
through using collaborative, creative, and participatory methods<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
